Can Ramsay beat Bobby Flay? Or will Flay give him a taste of his own kitchen nightmares?

If we could think of any celebrity chefs we’d like to see in a battle of knives and whisks, it’s these two. Gordon Ramsay has confirmed at a Vegas Uncork’d event that he will take on Bobby Flay in a televised cooking throwdown at the end of the year. We’re not sure what to expect, but if Ramsay’s comments are any indication, the rivalry between the two TV personalities is about to get heated:

“Should I let you in on a little secret?" Ramsay said at the event. "At the end of the year, we're going to go and do a throwdown...against a chef that I've grown up and admired for many years, but he keeps on refusing to go against me. You may not have heard of him, but his name is Bobby Flay.”

This isn’t the first time a competition between Flay and Ramsay was hinted at. In the midst of a media-fueled feud in 2013, Flay suggested they do a charity- cook-off together, but Ramsay ultimately called the whole thing off. This time though, it looks like it might actually come to fruition:

"I do love the guy, I just can't wait to beat his a**,” he said. "Just sign the contract, Bobby!"
